INQUBEKO YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION

Inqubeko Youth Development Organisation was establishing in October 2010 by unemployed youth of Sakhile extension.2. The organisation registered itself with the NPO Directory which falls under the Department of Social Development in December 2010. The organisation moved to ward 15 at extension 6, because the youth in that area don’t have a youth center. The youth of Sakhile identified the problems faced by youth of the area which is mainly as result of lack of information.

These include

• Rate of crime.
• Substance abuse.
• Teenage pregnancy.
• School dropout. 
• HIV and Aids infection.

Inqubeko members started doing their activities from home by visiting the nearby schools assisting schools kids with their homework and life skills. These young volunteers have now well established themselves in the community due to the reason that they ended up operating in one place.

we also deal with:

• Career guidance
• Providing information to school leavers and unemployed concerning job opportunities
• CV writing and preparation of interviews 

Inqubeko youth organisation is willing to work with other stakeholders and private institutions in order to make its objectives to be successful.
